Business Support - Can a shift be extended?

On some occasions, you may want to extend the length of your Sven worker shift, if you require our workers' help for a little longer than anticipated. In order to do this, you will need to ask the worker if they are available to stay on until the specified time.

After the shift is completed, the worker will need to ‘end shift’ in the worker app and submit a timesheet for approval. 

In the unlikely event of a Sven worker arriving late to their shift, this will be considered when calculating overtime, based on their shift start and end time, to ensure they are paid in accordance with how many hours were worked.

If they are unable to stay on longer and you would like some extra support, post a new shift through on your profile and we’ll do everything we can to get someone over for the specified time.
